Greetings, my name is Nubel Rodriguez and is my honor to be your child's teacher. This is my third year as a teacher in RCCS. I started as a parent seven years ago when we found RCCS for our daughter with Asperger, ADHD Inattentive Type, Anxiety and Dysgraphia. With time I was hired to be a teacher. Currently I am the 7th grade advisor, I teach middle school Science, Foreign Language, Journalism/Yearbook and P. E.
I earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. I moved to San Antonio, Texas, and earned my teacher certificate in EC-4 and Science 6-12 from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I am currently enrolled in the University of Texas at Tyler for my Masters Degree in Reading Specialist. I have worked with a variety of students including special education and English language learners, and Spanish is my first language. Science is my passion, reading is my favorite downtime activity, and photography is my hobby.
I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can e-mail me at [email protected].
I look forward to a year of fun and learning with your child! Together we can make this a wonderful, positive experience.
